Ky'Anna Jeanetta May wants our attention!!!

Ky'Anna Jeanetta May will not be here this weekend and so I thought I would let you see her brother! This is Ky'Ree Akai May!! He is my sweetie! I love his smile. Chanel is having complications with this pregnancy!! Please pray for Chanel and tiny Ky'Anna. Chanel just stopped by about an hour ago and told me that she is in a great deal of pain. We all expected to see this beautiful little girl tonight...but the Doctors said,"Not yet!" Chanel is miserable! When I came out to the car tonight Ky'Ree yelled, "Mommy didn't have my Sissy yet!" He looked happy... but Chanel didn't!
The poor thing had a look of desperation on her face. Her tired eyes tell all. I just had to give her a big hug!! Tonight pray for Chanel, Ky'Ree, and the baby. It won't be long now and Ky'Anna Jeanetta will bless us with her presence...she is just waiting for everyones attention! Typical woman! LOL

Watch out Savannah!

This week was very hot! Here is my dog Chubs playing in the water. I had to take a picture! Savannah would get in the little mini van and drive it out to Chubs. She wanted to stay dry....it didn't work! LOL

I'm gonna be a grandma!!!!

My daughter is having a baby!! It is gonna be girl!! Her name is Chanel and she came to us at 14. She was never adopted....but still our daughter:) Here she is at Christmas. Chanels son is Kyrie. He is 3 years old. Kyrie is playing at Nanas house...waiting patiently for his Christmas dinner!
This is Chanel when she first came into our house. We took a trip up North to my twin sisters house. She is 14 years old here....
And now she is 9 months pregnant!!! This is last week in Sterling Colorado. We were waiting for a concert and she fell asleep. I was finally able to snap a picture! LOL She wouldn't let me take a picture when she was awake. LOL I'm so excited to take a picture of the new baby!! It will be a baby girl! Chanel keeps saying, "Mom, she is going to look just like you!" So, I ask you, "Do you think the new baby will look like her Grandmother?".... I guess you will have to wait! LOL We are accepting donations for the baby:) Danielle has found her an apartment. But..she needs everything for her, Kyrie, and the new baby girl! Please pray for a safe delivery....Stay tune for more pictures and an update from the Albertsens!!!

The weekend with Grandma!!

Gabe and Aunt Savannah wanted to finish the weekend with camping! Victoria wanted a closer look...

Elijah and Josiah wanted to make sure I was looking. Baby Poppie just wanted a closer look! LOL

Tori Joy and I had a wonderful weekend!

My grandaughter came for the weekend! Yes...I am one of those obnoxious Mother and Grandmother who most avoid due to the fact that I have to show a million pictures of my kids. LOL Victoria Joy is 6 years old. We call her Tori Joy for short. I know you are dying to ask if she was named after me...YES!!! Isn't she adorable:) When she was little she would walk around flipping her hair and say "I have my Nana's hair and my Nana's eyes...I'm my Nana's girl! Then she would quickly push her brothers off my lap. I had the pleaser of having her for the weekend. She noticed I was working and decided to give it a try! LOL Tori Joy is a natural writer! Her book will be coming out in about 20 years!! You can bet on it:)

Here she is with her Aunt Savannah. They have played endlessly all weekend. Don't they look like best buddies? It is so funny when we go out and she yells,"Aunt Savannah...come here!"

Snuggle time! So..I ask you..."Doesn't she look like me?" ..... Yes! I love being a grandmother!!! This is Tori in our playroom. It is across from my office. Stay tune for more pictures of Tori Joy...she will be in town for two weeks! LOL God Bless!

An excerpt from my book:)

With each day that passed my desire to learn increased. School became my home, where I was fed and did not have to hide. I could run and play without the fear of being hurt. I would get up as early as I could to escape to school. I would write in library books, on paper, anywhere I could. I would write in hopes that someone would find the words and rescue me. I wanted to believe that if I could succeed, maybe love was possible. If I could read, then maybe I would appear to be from a normal family. I wanted to be seen. I dreamed of being someone else.....

I’m deeply touched by the outpouring of encouragement and support that I receive daily through my website!

Hello!I want to thank you for your interest in my upcoming book “Looking Through the Eyes of An Unseen Child”! My excitement grows with each day of accomplishment towards the completion of this project!I would like to request your continued help… I’m in need of your faithful prayers and supportive thoughts as I struggle through some of the more challenging parts of writing and publishing this book. I find that each chapter requires prayer and focus to ensure its true purpose in offering hope, and at the same time, I must continue to take care of my daily responsibilities as a wife and mother. My heart is not separate on these matters, both are of equal importance. That’s why I’m asking for your prayers and your patience. I have decided to include periodic updates at http://www.unseenchild.com/ to help you stay connected with my progress! I know the completion of “Looking Through the Eyes of An Unseen Child” is for all the unseen children, and I want you to share in the development of this big dream! Please check the web site regularly to see the newest updates and plans for the book’s release. We’re praying that the book is completed by Fall-2006! Thank you, again, for all your love and support!God Bless,

Diana Joy

Letter to God:

I received this letter from a friend and I thought it was cute! I'm sure if Savannah could write a letter it would be something like this:) I like to read the original writings from a child. They never hold back from the honest truth. Don't you wish as adults we were able to be as honest with God as this child was? 2 Corinthians 1:3. "Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all, who comforts us in all troubles, so that we can comfort those in any, with the comfort we ourselves have recieved from God." God is big enough to love us all. Thank you Lord... Diana Joy

ITS TIME TO PARTY!

Somebody is mad that it's not his birthday. Josiah (twin) refused to eat his cake because nobody gave him a present!LOL
We all jump when Poppie says anything. He demands it!
Elijah (twin) needed to make sure he was seen:)
I had the camera and he yelled, "Look at me Grandma!" I had to take a picture!

Gabryel took a deep breath and blew out all the candles! He is now a big boy! Now he can eat more cake. Savannah had fun with her girl friends. It looks fun to be nine! Don't ya think?

WOW...Savannah (my daughter) turned 9 years-old Sunday and Gabryel (my grandson) turned 8 years-old Tuesday. Be sure and check out all the party pictures. See “Flicker” to the left of this blog. The twins and the baby have also been very busy. I totally enjoyed having them last weekend! I did my regular grandmother thing. All you grandparents know what I mean.... It’s grab a treat and hold on to it until a child happens to notice and then say, “Do you want a treat?" Then whisper in their ear, "Say Grandma loves me”.... What a wonderful feeling to slip a child some sweets, hear the words, "I love you" and then be rewarded with a special kiss on the cheek! YES!! GOD IS AN AWESOME GOD!!

“....MY BRETHREN, COUNT IT ALL JOY WHEN YOU FALL INTO VARIOUS TRIALS, KNOWING THAT THE TESTING OF YOUR FAITH PRODUCES PATIENCE...” JAMES 1:2-4

Those words tell it all! My week has been filled with many trials! Dave and I have been sick and the kids are on summer break! I don’t know who has suffered more this week...the children... or my husband and I? In my opinion...Definitely the children! So, I will give James 1:2-4 to all those parents, grandparents, and children out there who are trying to survive the summer break! I can’t wait tell August! So, I pray, “God help me...give me patience!”

Here are some words from one of my favorite songs “Count It All Joy” by Susie Luchsingers:

Count it all joy ~ this trial you’re in ~ God is just working on you from within ~ He’s letting patience have its perfect work in you ~ To make you more like Him when it is all through.

Have a Blessed weekend!

Praise and Prayer

Hi, It's Sara "the Editor" Davenport, and I wanted to share a bit about the writer's conference we went to this past weekend. It was a fabulous blessing! Pastor Polly Sanders-Peterson organized a conference for local writers to help them be blessed and supported in their projects for the Lord. She provided a lovely space, great food, and wonderful pastors to uplift and inspire the Christian writers in attendance.

I personally got to meet Diane "organizer" Maes for the first time! And, it was great to see Chanel again - (she's one of Diana's daughters), both of whom attended the conference with us. I can't wait for the next Pastor Polly conference!

On another note, those of you who are prayer warriors, please PRAY FOR HEALTH! We are struggling with health issues and it is making it a challenge to stay on task with our editing. Please pray for health, patience, strength, courage, Wisdom and guidance as we continue to seek to serve God's will in completing this story for the unseen. Thank you for all your support.

May God Bless You!

Sara
