Statement of Faith

It has been requested that I state my beliefs and so I will. Please understand that I do not expect you to have the same beliefs as I do. However, I do demand that you respect my religion. Also, I will delete any profanity and inappropriate discussions. Political or otherwise. Please know that all are welcome here:) God bless! I Believe:
All Scripture contained in the Old and New Testaments is verbally, plenarily, and inerrantly inspired by God. It is the authoritative guide for all Christian understanding, life and ministry. We believe in the exact equivalent method translation from the original languages.
There is but one God eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. Each is infinite, eternal, and almighty. That Jesus Christ, the Son, is fully God and fully man. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, and He lived a sinless life. He died, shedding His blood in His substitutionary death for sinners, then was buried, arose from the grave, ascended into heaven, and is now seated at the right hand of the Father.
The Holy Spirit, Who is Lord and giver of life, convicts the world of sin, righteousness and judgment, and unites man to Jesus Christ by faith. We believe the Holy Spirit seals and fills all believers.
That man was created in the image and likeness of God. It was by man's free volition that he disobeyed God, incurring physical and spiritual death (separation from God). Each human being is born with a sin nature. Because of this each human is a sinner by nature and is in need of a divine salvation. That salvation is a gift from God. This was accomplished by Christ's substitutionary death; all who believe in Him are justified by the shedding of His blood. Because salvation is given by grace, the believer's salvation is eternally secure.
The Baptism of the Holy Spirit is sent upon all who believe in Jesus Christ. This takes place in each believer at the moment of salvation. Continual infilling may follow. Each gift given by the Holy Spirit is for the edification of the Body of Christ, and is still present today.
We believe that the fulfillment of the Great Commission is the responsibility of all believers.
That the church is the body and the bride of Christ. It is dedicated to the worship and service of God, and the observance of the sacraments or ordinances of Baptism and the Lord's Supper. The primary task of the church in all ages is to teach all nations and to make disciples through the preaching and teaching of the Word of God.
That Christ will return to rapture His church. Immediately following this event will be the seven-year tribulation period. Concluding this, Christ will come again to the earth and establish His rule for a 1,000 year period. The Great White Throne judgment of the unsaved, coupled with Satan being cast into the lake of fire, will then allow Christ to establish a New Heaven and a New Earth. This is the consummation of all things.

It's Alyssa's Birthday!!!

Tory Joy said it all when she yelled,"Everyone be quiet! It's Auntie Alyssa's birthday!"

My daughter is now 14 years old. Here Alyssa is showing off her new shirt! How fun!! I know most mothers are thinking, "How can my baby girl be that old? Where has all the years gone? It seemed like yesterday and she was starting the first grade." But, what you men don't know is that every mother at my age is actually thinking, "Oh my gosh do I really look that old?" LOL The answer for me is "YES! I really do look old!" Alyssa was born a month early. She was a huge child. By the time she was full term she was over 13 pounds. I know what you woman are all saying, "OUCH!" Well....yeah ouch!
She is the child that very rarely get's into trouble. The most conflict she has is yelling at her friends for smoking bud (marijuana). I love her sooo much! I would never want to be her age again. She has so much pressure to be like her friends. Even though we are not in the best neighborhood, she holds onto good values. I'm so blessed to have her:) Okay...I know you are all saying, "Enough already!" Well, I can't help myself! But, I will try and make this short." Now your saying, "Yeah right, Diana make it short? Impossible!"
But, remember, you came to my blog:) LOL Therefore by rights, I am aloud to talk about my kids! HAHAHA Don't you love the way I have a conversation with myself, all the while assuming what most of you are thinking? Another habit that is hard to break. LOL

My daughters know the cameras on. Here is Chanel (in the back) and Savannah. And of course my birthday girl!
I can't believe she's thirteen, (oops...fourteen) GULP..sniffle...Anyway, I love the fact that no matter what happens Haley and Alyssa will always have each other. They spend long nights talking and dreaming about what it is going to be like in highschool next year. Who they are going to hang out with. What boy is the cutest...(okay, hottest in their language). Again...remember those days?
I don't know who took this picture? But, it will always be one of my favorites. They both have such pretty blue eyes...oops..Here I go again. being a annoying mother! LOL Happy Birthday Baby girl! I love you! Love always, MOM!

I'm exhausted!

Yes....I'm sure you all have figured it out by now! Everyone stayed the night at Grandma's and Papa's house. I'm exhausted. This is the happy faces. I couldn't get the sad faces of when Aunt Ashley bummed over the fish tank and the fish went flying. When we went to bed last night Savannah volunteered to pray, "Oh Dear Lord, Please let my fish live". Everyone yelled, "Amen!" Then the little ones fell asleep in grandma & grandpa's bed:) WHEW! We survived another family memory!!!
Snuggle time:)
Who is getting Dog piled here? I can't tell?

So, I ask you, "Doesn't Josiah look like he's up to no good?"

Micah is too busy eating cake! "Quick Micah! Get all you can before some sees you:)
Poppie is attempting to tell every one something... We all figured it out when Ky'Ree came in with a bump on his head!

I couldn't resist!

Baby K'Anna took a nap in between all the chaos:) Yes...I had to fit the baby in again! I can't help it! Could you resist that adorable little face? She was exhausted after the week at Grandma's house....

AHH! MMMMM....life is soooo hard! LOL (((BIG HUG)))

Paul and Susie has touched my children!

We had one last visit to see Susie Luchsinger in Longmont, Colorado. A bunch of you have gone through my site asking, "Who is Susie Luchsinger?" Well, she is a Country/Gospel singer. Some know her as Reba Mcentire's sister. However, being a twin sister myself, I would like to state that her name is Susie! NOT REBA! She is one of a kind! Susie has her own style of music. It is very powerful! It is gospel and country. Just when I thought music couldn't get any better, God created Country Gospel:) Plus, She has an awesome story to tell! Paul (her husband) and Susie speak on domestic violence. "Are they victims of domestic violence?" you may ask. Paul and Susie have a testimony that very few ever speak. They talk about their own family problems. Yes, I know, how brave is that!! Paul talks about how he was a victim of domestic violence and how he in turn abused his wife. This is what I strongly state in my book. Don't repeat the patterns of your fathers!!!! It takes a strong person to stand up for such difficult subjects in order to help others. Mega thanks to the Luchsingers!!

Here is my grandson Gabryel. He is missing Gene 13. Those of you who know me, always hear of my love for this young boy. I would really like to educate you on what exactly "missing gene13" means. However...I have no idea. Gabes brain is the size of a two year old. Yet, he just turned 8. So, it is obvious he is developmentally delayed. It is difficult to understand what he says. Before you pause and say, "Oh no!" Please hear this.., the entire family see him as a gift from God! Not something to feel sorry for. Take note, I am only one of the many family members that surround this little boy with love and despite his disabilities, we ALL know his language:) Gabe is yelling, "Grandma, take a picture! It's me and Reba!" Okay...he is a little confused who is who:) LOL He has seen Reba on my cds and when Susie mentioned her sister...well, he automatically assumed Susie was singing and it was Reba in the lobby! LOL How about that! Gabe met two stars in one night!! LOL Many turned to look at him as he jumped up and down and clapped his hands for joy. LOL Yes...God is an awesome God! This is my daughter Chanel. Last time we visited Susie and Paul Chanel went into labor. Chanel is a vicitm of Domestic violence. Paul has now convinced her that her ex-boyfriend is better off in jail until he takes responsibility for his actions...then perhaps through therapy and God there is still hope! Paul has no idea how much God used him on Wensday. And here is my co-worker Diane. She is determined to make all the unseen children seen!
Ky'Anna finally made it to see Susie:) Boy, were we all fighting over who was going to hold her!

Here is Elyjah. He is mad because his twin got a better cookie after the show. And guess who got a big cookie? Yep! Poppie! Here he is with my daughter Danielle. What a bundle of energy!

WOW! What a day the Albertsens had! Gabryel, Savannah, and Victoria were exhausted and had to take a nap on the way home. There were sooo many pictures of the rest of the gang...but as always, not enough space:) I hope you all enjoyed our day....I know we sure did:) Well....except for Victory Joy...she was very frustrated that it was such a long trip home....

Best of friends and nothing to do!!!

My daughter and her best friend Haley. They are busted playing with my camera!! How fun!!! You can tell by the art that they will be best friends forever! They met each other in the third grade. In the six grade Haley left for LasVegas and didn't return until this summer. Isn't it amazing how even though they lived so many miles apart, they were determined to stay in touch. Now, Haley has returned to live in Denver. They can't wait to start High School. Freshman year....YIKES!!!

HAHA!! Lady's, remember these days. It has been a long hot weekend and they must have been totally bored! LOL What do ya think! HAHAHA I couldn't stop laughing when I saw them! It brought me back to my old friends from Highschool and the games we played to survive the summer.
This look is ssoooo familiar! My daughter is going to kill me when she sees this....

The Luchsingers!!!

I have had an awesome day:) Hot!!!...But, AWESOME!!!! Diane and I went to see Susie & Paul Luchsinger in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Both Paul and Susie have a wonderful ministry to all people of all ages. Here I am with Susie:) Don't we look hot? I was burning up!
Susie had the older cowboys singing. LOL How Fun!!!

And dancing!
I have so much to tell you about my day. But, it will have to wait. I'm exhausted! I spent a ton of time with God today, asking Him what future plans He has for me and the Unseen Child Foundation. Please pray for me? I know God is working...I can feel it. I am not quite sure why I find myself revisiting the Luchsingers? What is He trying to tell me? I sat back and observed Paul and Susie today and saw so many gifts in each of them. You may ask, "Why Paul and Susie? What part would they play in the Unseen Child Foundation? They work with Cowboys...not abused and neglected children from the city." Well, I believe they BOTH CAN HELP THE UNSEEN CHILDREN! Paul is a gifted speaker. He has such kindness and compassion. I don't think he sees how valuable he is to victims of child abuse. It will be interesting to see what God has planned:) I need to crash! I will fill you in more later. I know that many of you wanted to see the pictures.....ENJOY!
Paul and Susie getting prepared for the concert.

They look so happy together:) Every one please continue to pray for Psalms Ministries. Also, don't forget to go online and order Susie's music! I will blog more later...

Unseen Child

Hi!

I just had one more special comment to make:)
I know..you guys are all thinking, "Yeah right....Diana, has just one more comment...I don't believe it!"
I know, I blog a bunch and talk even more. But, so much has happened this week that I can't fit it into one post!

Yesterday, I received the famous package! For those of you who do not know what I'm talking about go to Neurotic Mom's blog
http://thelifeofaneuroticmom.blogspot.com/
She sent me a wonderful gift. Actually more than one:) And I want to say "Thanks so much!! It couldn't have come at a better time!" She and her husband sent me 2 CDs. Michael Combs. (BTW...Awesome music!) One for me and one for my friend Janey. Then, I received a golden cross to wear around my neck! I love it! It will remind me that God is in control! I was surprised to open the card and find $ in it!! Enough for me to see Susie Luchsinger in Cheyenne, Wyoming this Sunday! I am soooo excited! It wasn't even all the gifts that I received this weekend that made me feel special. It was what was written on the card. It said, "Diana, don't rob me of my blessings! Take the money!" Love Yah!
I wish I could yell her name from the highest mountain but, 1) She would die of embarrassment. 2) She would kill me! 3) She isn't the type of person who gives to receive.
She is a woman who loves unconditionally and gives endlessly. She will cry with you and laugh when you laugh:)
She is a true friend!
Love Yah Neurotic Mom!!!!Unseen Child

Yes...I do love pictures!!

I have received a ton of mail lately regarding all the photos I have on my site. The reason I love to take pictures is because I believe that they are a way of freezing time. And for some an important part of healing.
When I had my first born son I found myself scrambling for pictures of my childhood. Suddenly, the very thing I ran from as a teenager, became a necessity to survive as a young mother. Over the years I have learned to value every photo. Each person has their own path to healing...mine was and is through pictures!
A friend of mine made this for me when I started my book. This helped me remember my past, cry many tears, and find healing through the eyes of each child. I will continue to take pictures and value the ones I have:)

Help me help victims of Domestic Violence!!!!

This is not a hoax!!
Please read this!!! I beg you to make a donation to this mother. Poor little Miranda was on life support here in Denver for some time. Her mother has an incredible amount of medical and funeral bills. Out of privacy of the family I won't go into details. It just confirms my need to raise money for the safe house here in Denver. This is a sad situation, but, like all tragedies God will use this little girl to make a difference in the lives of many. I know she has already inspired me to fight for the many that have died because they were victims of domestic violence. I'm sure your first question is, "Diana, how did you find out about this?" Actually, I went to a job interview at this awesome company. It is Home Instead Senior Health Care. The supervisor asked me what I do. I shared a little about my life, and of course the book and my dream of building safe house here in Denver. It was then that she told me about her great granddaughter. All I can say is God needed me to speak with this woman today. How else would I have found out about Miranda. As you read this, think about little Miranda and how we as society can rescue many more daughters, granddaughters and great granddaughters. Look at this little girl. I am absolutely sure she is in a much better place. Let's use her life to make a difference.
By the way...I WAS HAPPY TO TAKE THE JOB!!!! Out of all the jobs I have interviewed with in the last month... I know this is where God wants me!!! Please be a part of helping the little Miranda's in the world! Thank you and God Bless you all!!

Ky'Anna is home!

Here is the moment you have all been waiting for....Ky'Anna is finally home! She wasn't very happy with the hot weather. It was 102!! WOW! But, all in all, we survived our trip home. The poor baby had to go through all the girls. Danielle kept saying, "Mom, she doesn't like you...she needs me!" "Oh no you didn't" I responded. How dare she take away my baby girl! So now you get the picture of what it's like at the Albertsen house. Kids coming and going. Every female fighting for a chance to just hold this wonderful doll. Okay, she doesn't look too happy here...
Boy is she mad! Every one quiet! My sweetie needs her beauty sleep!
What a big yawn! we are getting closer to peace and quiet:)
Doesn't she look relaxed? She must be thinking, "Oh! What a day!"

SSHH!! She has finally fallen asleep:) Now we can all sleep! I totally enjoyed having her. Chanel wanted to post the blog....but, she needed to get the kids home early. It was a long 2 days. She will be moving this weekend. Stay tune for moving pictures. I told you I love pictures! Have I ever told you how much I love being a Grandmother? LOL HAHAHA!!! I hope you all enjoy Ky'Anna as much as we do! Isn't it amazing what God can do!! God Bless you all!!

How many moms have this familiar poem on their fridge?

About preschool age it is a tradition in my family for each of my children to return from Sunday School with a grin on their face and this special gift in their hand. The picture is of little hand prints and this poem underneath it. I have recently posted a few on my fridge from my grandchildren! After some time I put each one away for safe keeping. Only to present them to my children framed years later. In fact when I adopted two of my girls they were teenagers and they noticed that I had done this ritual many times. So at the adoption party each one of the girls presented me with a framed picture of their hands. It doesn't matter that each girl was 16 & 17 at the time....What matters is I now have another set of hand prints to remind me of Gods gift to parents! And a childs unconditional love! Of course both pictures are now on my wall for the entire world to see:) I told you..."I am one of those obnoxious mothers (& grandmother) that has to brag about each child!" Both those that are born into the family or the children that God has given me through adoption!
Anyway, to stay on the topic, my oldest daughter is coming home from a cruise today. We have had her children for 10 days. As I passed the fridge on my way to my office I noticed the framed hand prints (from my 3 year-old twins). As frustrated as I have been at times with dirty hand prints and toys everywhere... I actually feel sad at the fact that they will be returning to their home:( So, today I will treasure those hand prints and the poem below it! God is an awesome God!!!!

Hands

Thank you Lord for dirty hands
That touch my stove and fridge;
For sticky little fingers that
Try to build a bridge.

For careless hands that go astray
In search of something new;
For hands to hold and show the way
As mothers often do.

For precious little hands in which
Great faith so abounds;
For that silly hands that reach
To touch a mother's frown.

And thank you for your guiding hand
That leads me to the light;
That lifts me when I stumble
And points me to the right.

As little hands reach out to me
To show them what to do,
I'm studied, reassured and loved
As I reach up to you.

Judith Peitsch

God bless all mothers...and grandmothers:)How many moms have this familiar poem on your fridge?

When life throws you lemons...Make lemonade!

To every thing there is a season, and a time for every purpose under Heaven. A time to be born, and a die...A time to weep and a time to laugh.
Eccles. 3:1-2,4

This morning Chanel called me angry. She told me of how she confronted the nurse by saying, "You neglected my baby. Why didn't anyone change her...she was covered in urine and poop after just one hour." The nurse responded, "I am the only nurse on and I am told to change newborns every 2 hours."
Don't get me wrong I am thankful. Most of the nurses and Doctors at Denver General did an awesome job! Especially when the staff make next to nothing!! The majority of large cities do not have access to the quality of healthcare that Denver does. But, it is upsetting that due to the large amount of teen pregnancy's this is a situation that is almost impossible to avoid.
So, to make this short (without bashing any professionals) I thought I would share this article with all those who are struggling with poor healthcare, (the overwhelmed Doctors and nurses included).
Note: After reading this I found myself giggling. Laughter is a wonderful way to accept situations that are out of our control. I hope this helps you as much as it did me:) LOL

Saint Peter at the Pearly Gates

Three guys died at the same time and ended up in front of Saint Peter at the Pearly Gates. Saint Peter said to the first guy, "Why should I let you in?"
The guy answered, "I was a Doctor and I helped many people get well."
Saint Peter said, "Okay, you may come in."

Saint Peter said to the second guy, "Why should I let you in?"
The guy answered, "I was a lawyer and defended many innocent people."
Saint peter said, "Okay, you may come in."

Saint Peter then said to the last guy, "And why should I let you in?"
The guy answered,"Well, I was a Managed Health Care Professional and I helped to keep health care costs down."
Saint Peter thought about this a moment and said, "Okay, you may come in...but you can only stay three day!"

Ky'Anna is just so special:)

Here is my Ky'Anna! When I arrived at the hospital my baby girl was sound asleep. I was surprised to see just how small she is! She looks like a doll. I held little Ky'Anna for a little while and then when she started to get cranky, I quickly handed her to her mother:) When I downloaded these pictures I found myself looking closely at her face. Isn't God an awesome God! Thank you Lord for such a special gift. Here is Chanel with her newborn daughter. Okay...I guess she looks a little bit like her mom!
It has been so long since I held such a petite little girl:) Okay...Okay...I will make this short...I'm sure you are all saying, "Shut up Grandma!" So I will.....but LOOK! Isn't she the cutest thing!!!

Ky'Anna is even getting bored with this conversation....so I guess it's time for us all to catch up on some much needed sleep:) God bless!

YEP!!! I"M A GRANDMA!!!! Ky'Anna Jeanetta May is finally here!!!

I'm a grandmother AGAIN!!! I was first person to welcome Ky'Anna Jeanette May into the world! Okay...besides the Doctors, several nurses, Chanel and the babies father...LOL Yes! The best gift a mother can recieve is grandchildren! I will try not to brag...but...the nurse came out and said "She has brown hair!" YEP!! That's it!! She does look like Grandma:) Actually the nurse came out and said, "I can see her head and she has dark brown hair". I responded, "What!! She doesn't have blond hair and blue eyes?" LOL The nurse and I had a good laugh!! Meanwhile Chanel was not laughing...But here she is right after giving birth. Okay Ladies..We all know that look! She was exhausted from pushing for 2 hours. My poor baby girl:( I am so proud of her. The room was full of Doctors and nurses and Chanel yelled,"Mom, get a picture for the blog!" Right when I walked in the room Chanel pointed to me and said, "This is Diana Joy! She is my mom and she is writing a book and I'm helping her! Quick mom, get the business cards!" I had to laugh because here Chanel is giving birth and nurses and Doctors are writing my website down on their pants! My daughter was telling them about the Unseen Child Foundation and the Safe House. Yep!! She's my kid! Determined to make the unseen children of the world seen! So...here is the small little angel! Ky'Anna was born on July 13 at 7:45pm!

Chanel, Ky'Ree Akai May , and baby Ky'Anna Jeanetta May will be coming to grandma's house Saturday! The kids will be with us for awhile. She will be moving into her own apartment when she is up and ready:) In the mean time I will be enjoying the tiny little bundle of Joy!! I will visit Chanel first thing in the morning...So of course I will be taking more pictures! We are accepting donations as soon as possible. Chanel has a place to live, but nothing else. If you would like to make a donation to Chanel please go to www.unseenchild.com and my co-worker Diane can help you:) The Doctors and Nurses were absolutely wonderful:) A SPECIAL THANKS TO THE AWESOME TEAM AT DENVER GENERAL!!!
